Landstad 1900
Recreation of the Landstad 1900 self-loading revolver. The idea for this project came from a post on the 'Hunt:Showdown' subreddit, suggesting it should be added. I then took it upon myself to make my own version of the 'revolver'(even if it barely counts) as only one ever made it to production.

Skorpion VZ61
The Skorpion VZ 61 is a Czechoslovakian Machine Pistol developed in the late 50s for use by security forces, as a reliable and portable full auto solution to your standard sidearm.
I'm really damn happy with the result of this model. I was trying to focus on my baking in relation to curvature, due to some feedback I received on a previous Asset.

Pentax ME
Got my hands on a Pentax ME to start taking up film photography with one of my friends, and couldn't quite resist the urge to start modelling this thing. It isn't often that I get a chance of having real world reference to use so I did my best to make use of that.
I also took the time to model some accessories to go with it, again using real world reference. I wanted to do this to get some variation in surface beyond prop in environment, as I find the inclusion of some sort of fabric clashing against metals tend to improve props.
This project consists of :

About
I am a mostly self taught 3D hard surface artist, aspiring to be so professionally since first learning CAD modelling 8 years ago. I have a great interest for weapons modelling, being directly inspired by games such as 'Hunt: Showdown' for their quality of work.
My main drive to learn and improve comes from the other works I see posted on sites such as artstation. Seeing and comparing my work to my peers directly fuels my want to improve.
I can contribute uniquely to studios with my knowledge on firearm production and assembly, being able to use this to create much more believable and streamlined experiences. My professional aim is to become a dedicated hard surface artist, preferably in the games industry, and to use my skillset to produce high quality and mechanically sound assets.

29.09.25 - Week 3
This week on my Honours work and research has me concepting pieces of the character, with nothing exactly being set-in-stone as to the final appearance. This further concepting has a more refined idea of what the final artefact may look like, in this case, the torso.
The above here is some earlier 3D concepting I did, which has given me a solid base to create a ton of drawovers. The head sculpt here already bares a great resemblance to the cartoon Bruticus head; Some key features I've yet to figure out.
22.09.25 - Week 2
The past week has had me focusing on asset testing for my Bruticus project, mainly rubber materials and tyre forms/topology; trying to get as realistic a tyre as I can while not overdoing the materials/polycount.
I believe I have achieved what I set out to in the surfacing of these two assets that I almost definitely will take through to production on the final artefact.
15.09.25 - Week 1
Above we have the initial reference gathering for my Honours project - 'Bruticus Online', the redesiging of the Transformers character Bruticus into the same high quality as the live action movies. My inital stages of reference gathering focused on the 5 vehicles that make up the character itself, aiming to have enough high quality images to begin concepting.
Above is the initial concepting of what the character asset could look like, aiming less to capture detail; more to focus on general form and silhouette.
